Online Support Resources

CAPE is proud to present on-demand training options that empower faculty and staff to take professional development into their own hands – accessing training when and where they want it.

When I first arrived at WesternU I was confident in my clinical skills but had little formal training on how to be an educator. The CAPE Center provides an organized forum for me to explore resources and grow to be a stronger instructor both in the classroom and in the clinic. In particular, I appreciate sessions that help keep me updated on the use of technology to facilitate student learning (and assessment) and value the relationships that I’ve built because of the opportunities that CAPE provides.

Jasmine Wong Yumori, OD, FAAO

Associate Professor, College of Optometry

Presenting through CAPE allows me to efficiently reach faculty from all departments on campus. It is a great opportunity to interact with them and expose them to resources and services they may not have been aware of.

Ruth Harris, MLIS

Education Services Librarian

The CAPE team has been very supportive in helping us develop Articulate Modules for our course.  We have been attending the workshops provided by Adam and also have received one-on-one help to make sure the curriculum delivered is without any technical problems.  We certainly value and appreciate the CAPE team!

Airani Sathananthan, MD, MSHS, FACE, FACP

Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine/Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
